Newah Organization of America (NOA) is pleased to announce 8th Annual Yenya Punhi (Indra Jatra) Samay Bajee Gathering on Saturday, October 06, 2018 in Washington, DC Metropolitan area. NOA has been celebrating Yenya Punhi (Indra Jatra) festival every year for last 7 years. We believe, this program is reaching out to the community to celebrate together our festival in a homely environment with the aim to serve a large cross-section of the Nepalese diaspora in DMV area.

We have participants coming all over from Boston, New York, Pennsylvania, Mississippi, Colorado to experience and witness our traditional culture, foods and Live entertaining dance & exhibition in this Yenya Punhi (Indra Jatra) festival celebration.

We will have an exciting and diverse program this year:

– Live Dhimey ( Traditional Drum
