Madheshi Association in America (MAA) would like to express sincere thanks to Ridgewood Nepalese Society, New York for their support and donation for the flood victims in Nepal. Ridgewood Nepalese Society had raised fund for the flood victims, and it handed over the donation fund to MAA at a press conference in New York on 8/16/17. A check of $2001, of which $1572 was raised by the organization and $429 was from their emergency Relief Fund, was handed over to MAA GNYC President Manoj Kumar Singh by Ridgewood Nepalese Society President Rabi Koirala. Ridgewood Nepalese Society expressed their confidence in MAA for utilizing the fund to distribute relief materials immediately to the victims. They also appreciated MAA effort of reaching to the victims quickly. MAA would like to thank again to Ridgewood Nepalese Society and eneplaese.com for their support. MAA would like to give assurance to all donors and Ridgewood Nepalese Society that MAA would use the fund properly and with 100% transparency.
Also, MAA is ready to coordinate with all organizations and individuals who have raised fund to distribute it to the victims immediately since MAA team is already at the affected areas. We would like to thank all local authorities in Nepal who are coordinating and helping MAA to distribute relief materials.
