Ani Choying Drolma, A Tibetan Buddhist nun from Nepal, is known throughout for her beautiful voice and renditions of mantras, sadhanas, and Nepali and Tibetan songs. Recently appointed as the UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador to Nepal she is known for her charitable work which includes a school/nunnery for young girls of difficult family situations. Dance Mandal in Nepal has been involved in teaching Charya dance to the young nuns for the past decade. Ani Choying Dolma is a revered celebrity in Nepal and the organization of Nepa Chhe’n of Portland  is excited to be fulfilling the dream of  bringing her here, especially at this time of needed inspiration for the ideal of “Unity and Hope”.
