It is with the saddest regret that we announce the passing of my Mother, Jaya Bhattarai on January 30th, 2017.

My mother was a loving, caring, enthusiastic 87 year old woman with a gotta-try-it-all attitude towards life. She was a rebel, but lived simply and modestly. She loved flowers and gardening, and being there for our family. She also enjoyed walking, listening to others, and spreading her love of life one smile at a time.

For the past 21 years, she has spent every waking moment with me, my husband, and her only loving granddaughter. While we find solace in knowing she is in a better place, entering the gates of Heaven, we are disheartened to lose her. Please join us, as we mourn together over the loss of my Mother, Jaya Bhattarai.

The viewing and services will be held on Saturday, February 4th, 2017 from 10 am to 12 pm at
