This event was organized by MAA and  NY-NJ Chapter of MAA was formed with presence and initiation of MAA Central Committee Vice President Amit Shah.

The event started with address by respected Naval Kishore Yadav who stressed the importance for mutual respect among all Madheshis irrespective of their socio-economic background. Soon Dr. Binod Shah welcomed the new immigrants and guided them with rich experience of over 22 years in the USA and extended his continued guidance and support. Everyone followed with their brief introduction and one interesting fact about themselves helping to break ice with new members.

In the innovatively organized programme it kept all the members fully engaged and participative throughout with kids game of spoon and egg, musical chair for all, formation of MAA NY-NJ chapter and selection of its executives and members and the raffle winners which was a huge hit with all . The event was concluded with address by newly elected President of NY-NY chapter, Manoj Kumar Singh who pledged his dedication and efforts for the cause of MAA and also announced an event to celebrate Holi in New York on Sunday, 12th March 2017.
