Dear Community members and friends of Nepal,

The executive committee (EC) of the America Nepal Society (ANS) would like to invite all for an event to mark the beginning of its 50th Anniversary. ANS was registered in January 1967 in Washington DC as a non-profit, and has been serving the Nepalese expatriates and friends of Nepal since then.

Also in the event, the Economic Counselor of the Embassy of Nepal, Kailash Pokharel will talk about US Nepal Trade relations and on proclamation recently signed by the US President Barack Obama on December 16, 2016 toimplement Trade Facilitation and Trade Enforcement Act of 2015 (“TFTEA”) which creates a trade preference program for Nepal.

Please join the event to discuss the plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary, and provide your valuable feedback to ANS, and learn on the opportunities the proclamation provides for Nepali business to expand business in US.
