Dear Friends, Family and Community Members,
Newah Organization of America’s (NOA) would like to invite you to join us to watch a first premiere show of the Nepal’s first animated movie ” The Legend of Shankhadhar: “शंखधरया बाखं” in USA. It is a biopic on Shankhadhar Shakhwa, an ordinary merchant who cleared everyone’s debt and started Nepal’s original era, Nepal Sambat, on 20th October 879 AD. The movie is produced by The Yantrakala Studios and directed by Mr. Sanyukta Shrestha (UK).
The premier of the movie (in Nepal Bhasha with English subtitles) is scheduled as below:
Venue: Cinema Arts Theater, 9650 Main St., Fairfax, VA 22031
Date: Sunday, December 11, 2016
Time: 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Suggested Donation: $10/person and $5 for Children (Age 7 to Age 13)
