Dear All,
The Association of Nepali Teraian in America (ANTA) is aware of email sent to its members by some individuals who falsely claimed to be ANTA’s representatives. The individuals have threatened ANTA members for lawsuit and tried to prove that ANTA is their personal property. The individuals have used threatening languages which ANTA has taken very seriously. ANTA current committee will take appropriate actions against this kind of unlawful activities under the ANTA bylaws and the US laws. ANTA is not a personal property that somebody can claim to be its owner. It is a respected organization that has executive committee elected by ANTA members at ANTA 4th General Convention in Columbus, Ohio on Sept 10, 2016.
The convention was inaugurated by Honorable H. E. Dr. Arjun K. Karki, Nepal’s Ambassador to the US, who was the Chief Guest of the program. The convention had over 140 participants including representatives of various organization and members of ANTA along with their family and friends.
We would like to thank everyone who participated in the convention to make it a grand success. We would also like to thank everyone for your wishes to our newly elected executive committee.
