The Newah Organization of America (NOA) cordially invites you to meet and congratulate Dr.

Sushila Maharjan, Ph.D., recipient of the prestigious The Elsevier Foundation Awards. The

award has been selected on the Biochemistry and Biotechnology category within Central and

South Asia Region. Dr. Maharjan, is a Research Director and Founding member at Research

Institute for Bioscience and Biotechnology RIBB, Kathmandu, Nepal. She is currently in

Washington DC to receive The Elsevier Foundation Award.

The Elsevier Foundation awards are given in partnership with the Organization for Women in

Science for the Developing World (OWSD) and The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) for

the advancement of science in developing countries for the young woman scientists and

researchers.

Please join this event to congratulate Dr. Maharjan for her hard work, research and its impact

of benefit to the region and world.
