Nepa Pasa Pucha Amerikaye (NPPA) annual souvenir magazine Daboo will be published in November 2015, coinciding with the celebration of new Nepal Sambat 1136 and NPPA’s 24th anniversary.
The theme of this year’s Daboo will be “Dedicated to the Restoration of Nepali Heritage”. It will also feature Newah culture and literature, and carry other regular subject matters. Your articles, poems, stories, memories, and suggestions are the integral part of Daboo and we thank you for your active participation/contribution. We request you to submit articles, preferably, pertinent to the following topics:
Please encourage your children to write about their perception of Newah culture. This is indeed a good opportunity for them to express their thoughts, views, and ideas of Newah culture and promotion. Please visit NPPA website at www.nppa-usa.org to get an idea on Daboo souvenir magazine and articles.
Writing should be submitted in electronic form using Microsoft Word. Times New Roman Font is recommended for Roman script and Kantipur for Devnagari script. If your script is different than the Roman and Devnagari, please attach a copy of the script with your article. Writing should not exceed more than four pages with a font size of twelve.
Community members are requested to publish their New Nepal Sambat wishes and businesses are requested to advertise in the upcoming Daboo. With your kind and continued support, Daboo has been able to consistently grow and improve year after year. The greetings and advertisement fees break-down is: Quarter Page – $35; Half Page – $85; Full Page – $150; Full Page (Color) – $175; Back & Front Inside Cover – $300; and Back Cover – $500. Check should be payable to NPPA and should be sent to the following postal address:

Celebration of Nepal Sambat 1136 and NPPA’s 24th Anniversary
Nepa Pasa Pucha Amerikaye (NPPA), established in 1991, is a Newah organization based in the metropolitan Washington, DC. The Nepa Pasa Pucha Corporation is a registered legal name of NPPA which is a nonprofit tax-exempt organization under the IRC Section 501(c)(3). Its primary mission is the preservation and promotion of Newah cultural heritage, traditions, and customs in the USA.
