Joint Statement on April 25 2015 Earthquake in Nepal

On April 25th 2015, Nepal was struck with a 7.9 magnitude earthquake. The initial devastation has been massive, with more than 1800 casualties reported thus far. We are greatly saddened and grieved by the loss of life and property caused by this devastating earthquake. Our hearts and minds go to Nepal at this trying and difficult moment.  At this very difficult time for Nepal, all of us must come together to help provide aid as quickly as possible.

In the immediate aftermath of this tragedy, our organizations have joined forces. We are in communication with international and local responders and government agencies to help facilitate the collective response, and have created a repository for various  relevant information at the following sites of the Nepali diaspora professional organizations:
