On behalf of External Relations Committee of NASeA, I am pleased to share with you all that Non-Resident Nepali National Coordination Council of USA (NRN-NCC of USA) President Khagendra GC addressed the NRN-USA Special Interaction Session in South Florida held on Saturday, February 7th 2015 at 1 PM in Wellington Library, WPB FL. More than 25 participants representing Orlando, West Palm Beach and Miami region of Florida participated during this gathering and all benefited from this interaction.

As a key speaker, NRN-NCC of USA President Khagendra GC, highlighted the NRN-NCC of USA various activities initiated by his executive board and its key role to promote Nepali identity here in USA. President GC also addressed NRN ICC’s ongoing proposed NRN status to be clearly documented in New Nepal’s continuation where Non Resident Nepali (NRN) citizenship status clearly allows us enjoy the rights “Once a Nepali always a Nepali” and other benefits from our country of origin Nepal. President GC proudly announced that NRN-NCC of USA with approximately 12,000 paid members is the largest organization representing NRN International. He also welcomed all paid members of NRN-NCC of USA/Florida and extended special thanks to all individuals who actively participated in building the NRN-USA members.
An interactive question answer session was well participated together with NRN-NCC USA President GC, Mr. Pramod Sharma, Dr. Bidya Raj Subedi, Dr. Bijaya Kattel, Dr. Archana Kattel, Dr. Gokarna Gharti-Chhetri, Mr. Choodamani Khanal, Mr. Sundar Joshi, Mr. Krishna Shrestha, Mr. Dhan Thapa Magar, Mr. Jhanak Thapaliya, Mr. Ram Thapa, Mr. Kiran Dev Pandey, Mr. Balaram Panthi, Ms. Urmila Panthi, Mr. Dharma Khanal, Ms. Srijana Nepal, Dr. Arun Amatya, Mr. Prajesh Neupane, Mr. Dilli Raj Khanal, Mr. Jhulanath Timsina, Parbat Joshi, Swochchhanda Shrestha and Bimal Nepal.
Social leader/NRN-NCC of USA active member Dharma Khanal welcomed all the participants and requested all to get the benefit from this talk session. NASeA’s EVP Bimal Nepal, United FNA-FANS VP Jhanak Thapaliya, INLS Florida Chapter President Choodamani Khanal , NCCO-Orlando-FL President Dhan Thapa Magar, and Abi Kattel Memorial Foundation President Bijaya Kattel together with ANMA EC member Balaram Panthi all welcomed President GC and expressed their support to NRN-NCC of USA and all shared their organizations various activities in Florida and beyond.
During this event, on behalf of Non Resident Nepali community of Florida, Former President of Association of Nepalis in America (ANA) Pramod Sharma honored NRN-NCC of USA President Khagendra GC with a token of remembrance. NRN-NCC of USA active member/NASeA EC member Krishna Shrestha delivered vote of thanks while NASeA’s EVP/NRN-NCC of USA active member Bimal Nepal moderated this event.
