The third edition of the Digital Nepal Conclave will be held on Friday, June 7. Organized by the
ICT Foundation Nepal, the main theme of Digital Nepal Conclave 2024 is ‘Harmonizing
Digitalization and Development.’ The conclave, organized in collaboration with various
national and international organizations including Ncell, UKAID, and The Asia Foundation, will
feature over 50 distinguished and expert speakers in seven sessions.
The event, to be held at the Kathmandu Marriott Hotel, will be inaugurated by the honourable
Prime Minister, while the closing power dialogue will feature KP Sharma Oli. Additionally, special
sessions will be conducted by the Minister of Communications and the Minister of Finance, as
informed by ICT Foundation Nepal’s chairman, Razan Lamsal. The conclave will also provide a
platform to showcase new technologies and initiatives for Digital Nepal, with approximately 20
digital initiatives on display.
Focused on the theme of harmonizing digitalization and development, the third edition of the
conclave will feature sessions and presentations on topics such as digital public infrastructure,
sustainable telecommunications and policy, digital empowerment and inclusion, digital
governance and data for development, digital economy and investment, digital leadership, and
the future direction of digital transformation.
Expected to be one of the largest technology conferences of the year, the conclave anticipates
participation from over 500 representatives from federal, provincial, and local governments,
stakeholders, experts, entrepreneurs, and startups. Interested individuals can purchase tickets

As a pre-event, the foundation organized a two-day Digital Karnali Conclave in the Karnali
Province this year. Over the past two years, the organizers have conducted Digital Samvad
programs in all seven provinces, publishing research-based books on the digital status and
capabilities of the provinces. Since the Nepal government launched the Digital Nepal
Framework in 2019, the foundation has been conducting various activities towards this goal.
ICT Foundation has been conducting various programs across the country to support digital
transformation and the development of its ecosystem, according to chairman Lamsal. The
organizers believe this year’s Digital Nepal Conclave will be more meaningful and impactful.
