NASeA Mission for Service Continues 

 

Respected General Members, Life Members, Officers, Former Presidents, Advisers, and well-wishers of NASeA,

Welcome to Charlotte, NC!

On behalf of Nepalese Association in South America (NASeA), I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all my officers, advisers, former presidents, life members, general members together with all well-wishers and friends of Nepal for providing me the unconditional support during my tenure of presidency 2015-2017.

During my two years of presidency, apart from many activities, NASeA proudly celebrated her Silver Jubilee 2016. Please join me saluting all NASeA Former Presidents and their respective officers, Life Members, general members and all well-wishers without whom NASeA’s progress and prosperity would have been impossible to measure.

Following NASeA’s rich tradition and democratic norms during 13th NASeA/ANMA joint convention 2017 in Charlotte, NC we are electing officers for the tenure 2017-2019 abiding the Bylaws.

Forty very capable candidates are contesting this election in all open position for NASeA Executive Committee 2017-2019 which is to be held on Sunday, September 3, 2017. With due respect,  I extend my best wishes to all the potential candidates and ultimately you all are the winners because of you all leaders NASeA mission of service  continues.

Once again, I assure you all that the current executive committee has extended its full cooperation to the 3 Members Election Commission led by Shaubhagya Shrestha with Raja Ghale and Kiran “Ron” Sitoula  to conduct free and free election.

As we move forward celebrating NASeA’s 25 Years’ service to the community, we have indeed reinforced NASeA’s foundation by exercising our democratic rights to choose our leaders and best serve our community we represent.

“Civic Engagement and Youth Empowerment” is our theme of the convention and during my tenure of presidency we have opened the door on all fronts so that we engage ourselves to be the part of this great nation and encourage our youth to seek any opportunity to best serve American community keeping Nepali American identity alive.

Finally, I formally extend red carpet invitation to you all to be the part NASeA/ANMA joint convention various activities, Saturday,s cultural show, Sundays Concert together with NASeA Annual General Meeting (AGM). Most important of all, witness the historical NASeA Executive Committee 2017-19 installation ceremony on Sunday, September 3rd, 2017.
