2015 Nepal Earthquake – ANTA’s Press Release & Relief Fund Drive

Dear all,
Association of Nepali Teraian in America (ANTA) is deeply saddened by the extensive damage caused by a Major Earthquake of 7.9 Richter scale that occurred at 11:56 NST on April 25th, 2015 with an epicenter in Central Nepal, shaking whole Nepal and neighboring countries. ANTA extends deep condolences to all the families who lost lives in the Earthquake, and prays for your loved ones’ safety and well being.
ANTA is starting emergency relief fund to assist with the relief effort to provide humanitarian assistance to all people who are affected by the earthquake. ANTA has decided to launch an Earthquake Relief Fund by donating $2,000 from its existing fund. ANTA requests you all to do whatever you can to help the earthquake victims in Nepal. You can make donation to the Earthquake Relief Fund initiated by ANTA by the following means:
1) Using the Tab “

2) Sending a check to:

How the funds will be spent: ANTA will coordinate with Non-Resident Nepali National Coordination Council of USA (USA chapter associated with Global Non-Resident Nepali Association), local ANTA facilitator and other NGOs to ensure that these funds will go directly to the relief effort.
