ID Card Committee, NRNA NCC of USA

Carrying the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) ID card is a matter of pride for all NRNA members. We all understand that the importance and value of the NRNA ID card cannot be measured only in terms of monetary benefits that it may provide. It also enriches us with the feeling of belongingness with other members in the community.
Since the beginning of the term (2019-2021), as a part of the SMART NRNA Project, NCC of USA has been seriously working on providing services digitally like online meetings, digital documentation, event registration, student mobile app, and NRNA mobile app to the members in the US.
To deliver a uniform ID card around the world, we requested ICC to provide the global NRNA ID card to the NCC USA members as well. Based on the communication (email and meetings) with ICC executives, given the total lockdown in Nepal, printing, and delivering a physical ID card is not possible at this time. However, ICC Secretariat has recognized the importance of delivering the ID cards to the members for the term 2019-2021 in the US. ICC Secretariat has agreed to prioritize the delivery of digital id cards to the members in the US, before the Annual General Assembly (2020) of NRNA NCC of USA. The NRNA NCC of USA (with the help of the NRNA ID Card Committee and IT Committee) has already provided all the necessary requirements for developing the digital ID card to ICC.
