United Nepalese Student Organization (UNSO) is a nonprofit organization 501(c) which was established since 2014 and has been helping International students all around the USA in different areas such as student counseling, career development, housing, job placement,
legal matter, networking etc.
As we all aware that everyone was effected by COVID-19 pandemic all around the globe. Among us, Nepalese International Students also hit very hard by this Corona Virus. Soalong with NRNA, Voice of Youth, General Consulate of Nepal in New York, and few other organizations collectively, we are working to help specially Nepalese International Student all around the USA.
We, ourselves used to be the international students and as we can strongly feel how they are going through during this miserable time. So, time is very challenging to specially students to maintain F1 status and finding job in this economy. We have collected many students who
desperately need urgent care in New York, Chicago, New Jersey and other states during this pandemic time.
By keeping these all in tune, we are raising some funds to help and support mainly, F1 student in USA. According to 2016 – 2017 record, it shows that there were 11,602 Nepalese international students in USA. So, we are sure that this data might already escalated by now. We
have collected some funds but we are sure that will be not enough to help and support Nepalese International Student all around the USA.
So, cordially, we are asking all the respected Medias to help us to pass this information all around USA by publishing the articles and also simultaneously, help us to raise the funds by including gofundme account link in your online platform. This will be great help for the
Nepalese International Student around the USA during this panic time.
All the collected funds will be wisely used to help mainly F1 students after learning their situation. We will mainly use contributed funds to supply daily basic needs and also we will provide some funds as it necessities to the F1 students. All the collected funds and its
transactions will be transparent which will be publishing in UNSO official site.
