New York, October 26 —
Hemja, a beautiful and green settlement of Pokhara Metropolitan City–25, Kaski, stretches from Yamdi to Suikhet. Today, Hemja’s sons and daughters are spread across the world. Carrying deep affection for their birthplace and a spirit of unity, they established Hemja Welfare Society USA in 2018. Since its inception, the organization has been actively contributing to health, education, and social service both in Nepal and the United States.

Embracing the motto “Blood Donation is Life Donation — The Greatest Donation,” the Society successfully organized a grand blood donation drive at Broadway Mall in Hicksville, Long Island.
