Nepali Diaspora Marks 20 Years of ANTA in Washington, D.C. – Chief Guest Rt. Hon. Upendra Yadav Joins Celebration as Mohan Kumar Yadav Elected President Washington, D.C., USA – August 30, 2025

The Association of Nepali Teraians in America (ANTA) proudly marked its 20th Anniversary and 8th General Convention with a grand celebration in Washington, D.C., drawing over 400 participants worldwide, including 36 community leaders from the United States, Nepal, India, and Gulf countries.

📌 Theme of the Convention: “20 Years of Culture • Service • Unity – Preserve Our Culture, Inspire Our Future.”

🌟 Inauguration

The historic event was inaugurated by Rt. Hon. Upendra Yadav, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Nepal, current Member of Parliament, and President of Janata Samajwadi Party Nepal. He was joined by Convention Chairman & ANTA President Mohan Kumar Yadav, and Mr. Vijay Kumar Choudhury, Tourism Goodwill Ambassador for California (Government of Nepal) and ANTA Advisor.

The convention was hosted by Dr. Rabindra Mandal, General Secretary, and Mrs. Kanchan Choudhury, Spokesperson, with the presence of Immediate Past President Dr. Indradev Shah and Senior Vice President Mr. Kusheshwar Mandal.

President Mohan Kumar Yadav remarked:
