President Donald Trump arrived in Scotland on Friday, immediately criticizing European leaders over mass immigration. He warned that the crisis is “killing” the continent and termed it a “horrible invasion.”

Fox news says Trump boasted of effectively closing the US-Mexico southern border, contrasting it with Europe and the UK’s ongoing struggle.

He stated, “On immigration, you better get your act together or you’re not going to have Europe anymore.” He claimed that “last month we had nobody entering our country,” while criticizing his predecessor, Biden, for high apprehension numbers.

Trump urged European nations to “stop this horrible invasion.” He hinted at praising certain unnamed European leaders for their strict immigration stances while chastising others.

The UK faces a significant surge, with nearly 22,500 people arriving via English Channel crossings this year, a 57% increase from last year. Hungary and Poland were highlighted as examples of countries with hardline immigration policies.

During his five-day UK trip, Trump will visit his golf resorts and meet British Prime Minister Kier Starmer and Scottish First Minister John Swinney. He expects to discuss the recently signed “Economic Prosperity Deal” with Starmer, which aims to slash tariffs. Trump also plans to meet European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen to discuss a potential trade deal with the EU, calling it potentially “the biggest deal of them all.”
