This is Ghimire’s second book after working as a journalist in Nepal for nearly a decade and then moving to America. His first book, “Buddha vaad ka Teen Aayam,” was published in Nepali in 2013.The English version of it -Three Dimensions of Buddhism is also available in amazon.
The book Wandering Words,With the subtitle “Some Waves from Three Continents,” Ghimire says about the book, “This is a journey through the geography of three continents that cover almost half the world. But here, you won’t just find geography. As you travel, you’ll encounter history, traditions, languages, religions, cultures, civilizations, arts, and literature.
Somewhere Devkota and Ghimire might meet, somewhere Sophocles, Socrates, and Shakespeares. Somewhere one might get lost in Mona Lisa’s smile, somewhere might be consumed by a taxi driver’s sorrows. Whatever scenes touched me, as an observer, my gaze would have fallen on those very scenes. Whatever will be, it will be within this book. Whatever is not here, enlightened readers can point out. They can show my shortcomings and weaknesses.”
The book “Wandering Words” is reportedly available worldwide through online store Amazon.
Welcoming the Nepali New Year 2082, Senator Valkenberg presented a Commending Resolution on behalf of the state of Virginia to the Nepali Community of Richmond, Virginia (NCRVA).
