CCNCUSA Hosts Meeting, Felicitation, and Iftar Dinner with Asian American Affairs of Nassau County Nassau County, NY – March 25, 2025 The Coordination Committee of Nepali Communities USA (CCNCUSA) organized a special meeting, felicitation program, and Iftar dinner to foster collaboration and recognize community leaders. The event was led by CCNCUSA President Baburam Sharma, alongside senior community leaders Bed Prasad Kharel, Bishwaraj Bastola, Tika Dhakal, Basant Chapagain, Nirmal Thapaliya, Shankarnarayan Prajapati, and Ramesh Satyal. Distinguished guests included Syed Murtajiz Naqvi, Executive Director of Asian American Affairs of Nassau County, and Akram Choudhary, Senior Advisor for Nassau County.

In recognition of their contributions to the community, CCNCUSA President Baburam Sharma honored both Naqvi and Choudhary during the event. The evening provided a platform for discussions on strengthening partnerships between the Nepali community and Nassau County leadership while celebrating the spirit of unity during Ramadan. The gathering highlighted CCNCUSA’s ongoing commitment to promoting cultural harmony and advocating for the interests of Nepali Americans.
