Sentinel Inspector General Vasant Kunwarle has given clarification on non-attachment to Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane.
During the meeting of the State Administration and Good Governance Committee of the House of Representatives on Wednesday, Nepali Congress MP Dilendra Badule had raised questions regarding the amount of money given to the co-operative on Galaxy TV and a person named Ravi Lamichhane was involved in it.
While replying, IGP Kunwarle said, ‘The issue that has come up as a complaint has been registered. After further research no factual evidence was found. The law has reached a stage where it has become limited.
Looking at the Home Minister, he said, ‘First I said Ravi Lamichhane symbolically. So far, no basis of factual evidence has been seen on that matter.
Earlier, while speaking in the Parliament, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had said that Lamichhane was innocent
