The Newah Organization of America (NOA) families are deeply saddened by the demise of NOA’s life member, Mrs. Durga Devi Prajapati, beloved mother of NOA’s Life Member, Mrs. Magan Devi Shrestha and mother-in-law of NOA’s Life Member, Mr. Nani Babu Shrestha. She passed away at age 82 on Saturday March 2nd, 2024, in Maryland, USA.
Mrs. Prajapati is survived by two daughters, two sons-in-law, and five grandchildren. We regret the loss of one of the very prominent Newah-Nepali community members who has touched many lives, served, and contributed so much during her lifetime.
The NOA extends heartfelt condolences to the entire Shrestha & Prajapati family. May GOD give strength and peace to the entire bereaved family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Magan Devi Shrestha & Mr. Nani Babu Shrestha and loved ones during this difficult time.
Let’s pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
