The Newah Organization of America (NOA) families are deeply saddened to share the sudden passing of Mr. Karan Bahadur Rana. He was the father of NOA’s Life Member, Mrs. Kitty Rana Sunar, and the father-in-law of NOA’s Life Member, Mr. Bir Sunar. Mr. Karan Bahadur passed away at the age of 88 years on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Rachi, Jharkhand, India. He was a retired army and was very jolly and had a lovely personality.
He is survived by a wife, three children, one son and one daughter-in-law and two daughters and two sons-in-law and six grandchildren. We deeply regret the loss of one of the most prominent community members who touched many lives and contributed significantly during his lifetime.
May God give strength and peace to the entire bereaved family. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Kitty Rana Sunar, Mr. Bir Sunar and their loved ones during this difficult time.
