We, at Nepa Pasa Pucha Amerikaye (NPPA), are extremely saddened by the demise of Mrs. Gyani Maya Shakya, mother of NPPA Life Member Mr. Yagya Man Shakya and mother-in-law of NPPA Life Member Mrs. Mahima Shakya. She passed away in Lalitpur, Nepal on Wednesday, July 25, 2023, at the age of 97 years. She was born in 19
Mrs. Shakya is survived by five sons, two daughters, five daughters-in-law, a son-in-law, 20 grandchildren, nine granddaughters-in-law, eight grandsons-in-law, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Shakya family for their irreparable loss. Our prayers are with them at this tough time of grief and pray for the eternal and heavenly peace of the departed soul.
