The Newah Organization of America (NOA) families are deeply saddened to share the sudden passing of Mr. Tulsi Chhuju. He was a grandfather of NOA’s Life Member-Ms. Bimala Koju Prajapati and a father-in-law of NOA’s life member and NOA’s acting past president in 2020- Mr. Puskar Prajapati. Mr. Chhuju passed away at the age of 90 years on Monday the 10th of July 2023 in Nagadesh, Madhyapur Thimi, Nepal.
He is survived by 7 sons-in-law, 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. We deeply regret the loss of one of our most prominent Newah community members who had touched many lives and contributed so much during his lifetime.
The NOA extends heartfelt condolences to the entire Chhuju family. May God give strength and peace to all the bereaved family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Bimala Koju and Mr. Pushkar Prajapati and loved ones during this difficult time.
