The Ambassador of Nepal to the US, Prof. Sridhar Khatri, and is being conducted by the Institute for Integrated Development Studies (IIDS), in partnership with The Asia Foundation.

Your support will tremendously help the research study, which aims to explore the aspirations of Nepalis in the US and the opportunities to better engage, invest and contribute to Nepal’s development. Responses from the survey will help us understand various socio-economic and demographic characteristics such as age, income, education, and occupation of the Nepali diaspora in the US. It will also provide information on diaspora-related characteristics such as reasons for migration, years of residence, generation, link (if any) with Nepal, sense of identity, and plans to return to Nepal, among others.
