The Newah Organization of America (NOA) families are deeply saddened by the demise of Mrs. Sarala Shrestha, beloved mother of NOA’s Life Member Mrs. Madhuri Shrestha and mother-in-law of NOA’s Life Member Mr. Purna K. Shrestha. She passed away at age 79 on Saturday, February 4, 2023, in Kathmandu, Nepal.
She is survived by a son, two daughters, two sons-in-law and seven grandchildren. We regret the loss of one of our own very prominent Newah-Nepali community members who has touched many lives, served, and contributed so much during her lifetime.
The NOA would like to extend heartfelt condolences to the entire Shrestha family. May god give strength and peace to the entire bereaved family members. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Madhuri Shrestha and loved ones during this difficult time. Lets pray for the eternal peace of the departed soul.
