NRNA NCC USA organized the 112th International Women’s Day

We would like to let you know that NRNA NCC USA successfully organized the 112th International Women’s Day on 12th March 2022 with the slogan – ‘Break the Bias’.

We would like to offer our sincere thanks to our guests honorable President of Maiti Nepal Anuradha Koirala, Miss Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada, Miss USA Asia Meenu Gupta, President of NRNA NCC USA Buddi Sagar Subedi, Vice president of NRNA ICC Rabina Thapa, Vice President Badri KC, ICC Advisor Kul Acharya, Former President Keshav Paudel, Regional Coordinator Rajan Tripathi, Women Regional Coordinator Uma Karki Thapa, Regional Youth Coordinator Bimala Sapkota and all other distinguished guests as well as all the members of NRNA NCC USA, representatives from different organizations from Nepal as well as USA and all other participants involved directly and indirectly from all around the globe for their valuable time and cooperation to make this event successful.

We would also like to thank General Secretary & IT Chair Anjan Chaulagai, Secretary & IT Co-chair Anup Khanal, IT Member Sudeep Bagale for the arrangements to organize this event virtually.

We would like to thank Ms. Reecha Sharma for the welcome speech, Shanti Wagle, all the members and coordinators of NRNA USA Women Department and the whole executive team for making this event successful.

Some important agendas discussed during this event were Women Empowerment, Women Participation, and several other issues related to women, such as problems faced by women in foreign countries.

We would like to thank Rukmini Karki, Dr Priya Baidhya, Dr Rasun Pant for discussing and presenting issues related to Women’s leadership, participation, Gender equity, domestic violence, and mental health.

Lastly, we would like to express our gratitude and sincere thanks to the Chairman of the event, Vice President Dikshya Basnet, program hosts Secretary Sunita Sapkota Kandel and Women’s Coordinator Sundari Gurung for their valuable contribution and involvement in making this event successful.
