IECLC honored with Club Excellence and 100% President & Secretary awards

Irving Everest Centennial Lions Club (IECLC) is honored with the Club Excellence Award 2020-2021 and other 14 Clubs. The Club was awarded 100% President 2020-2021, 100% Secretary, and 100% District Lion award from District 2-X1. Lion Saroj Sigdel and Rajendra Kunwar were sequentially rewarded with 100% President and 100% District Lion and 100% Secretary from IECLC at Lions District 2-X1 Mid-Winter Conference and 3rd Cabinet Meeting of January 22, 2022.

The Mid-Winter Conference and 3rd Cabinet Meeting were hosted by the pioneer and oldest Nepalese Club in America, Dallas Everest Lions Club (DELC). The chief guest International Director Ernesto “TJ” Tijerina, highlighted the Lionism and presented some awards. The program chaired by District Governor Esmerelda Rodriguez had about 150 Lions members in attendance at United Methodist Church at Irving. MD2 council chairs, Past District Governors, 1VDG Fred Conger, 2VDG Prakash Gautam, Regional chairs, Zone chairs and many other dignitaries and members participated in this conference.

International Director TJ honored DG Esmerelda Rodriguez, IPDG Billy Ketner, and DELC Lion Kedar Timalsina’s awards and certificates for their outstanding services to the community. Lions serving from forty years to seventy years were honored with the certificates on this occasion.

Lion Aasish Khadka and Lion Ram Krishna Yadav were inducted out of four members from IECLC on this event. IECLC had added four new members in the month of January 2022.

Similarly, four members from the Club President Lion Saroj Sigdel, IPP Lion Gaurab Neupane, Members Aasish Khadka, and Raj Chaulagain donated blood. The blood donation program was organized jointly by Blood Donors of America (BDA), Dallas Everest Lions Club, Irving Everest Centennial Lions Club, Dallas Pokhara Lions Club, Plano Collins Nepalese Lions Club, and Dallas Buddha Lions Club on the same day outside of the program hall.
