First Month of NASeA ( 2021-23) executive committee!

Respected community leaders and members ,
Good evening and happy holidays 2021
Today , we have completed the first month of our tenure ( NASeA , 2021-23) . Overall summary of the first month reveals that we have started well that can be recapped as follows .
- Board meeting X 3 , were held
- The following Proposed road map with objectives and goals approved by executive committee .
- First Monthly talk session with guest speaker officiating ambassador Kiran Raj Kharel was organized .
- “ The NASeA history publication Board “ is already formed under the chairmanship of our former president Shaubhagya L Shrestha
- On the presidential capacity , I had talked with all our 15 former presidents along with many community seniors and informed them all about our energetic executive committee and our proposed goals and objectives . All of them are very much excited and ready to help in any aspects .
- Nomination of many working committee chairs completed .
- Had reached out to many state organizations and Nepalese students organizations to establish an effective inter state coordination. On official invitation of NCNC ( Nepali Center of North Carolina) , I attended their virtual AGM as a guest speaker .
- Exhibited our concerns as social organizations immediately on time to help in any aspects to our communities if they were affected or needed any help during the devastating tornados of the previous weeks .
We will work in team and always follow the best course of actions .
Proposed Objectives and Goals of this tenure ( 2021-23)
- New Start Fresh Projects
- Publication of the “ Glorious History of NASeA “ in hard copy Book . The “‘NASeA History Publication Board “ has already formed under the NASeA Former President Shaubhagya L Shrestha .
- NASeA’s Bylaws Amendment
- Make a proposal to qualify NASeA for non profit federal or state or local government grant funding .
- Organize a larger gathering ONE DAY event to thank and appreciate all peace corps volunteers which may help to strengthen the relationship between Nepal and USA .
- Career Development Project – Free IT training and help in job placement for our interested community members and knowledge sharing all about the entrepreneurship/business
- Organize the Seminar for high school junior and senior students for the preparation of College enrollment and establish a network to share and help each other .
- Vollyball or / and lawn Tennis friendly Tournament along with soccer tournament.
- Administrative Important Jobs
- Update the data base of all Life members and yearly members
- Increase the number of subscribers of NASeA’s Google groups .
- Implement some new ideas to increase the number of visitors for NASeA website
- Publication of NASeA’s financial reports quarterly and Yearly tax filed copy in our website
- Continuation of good works of previous tenures
- Publication of SHANGRI LA
- Competitive Literary Program
- Student Writing Contest ( Essay Competition)
- Emergency management fund
- Membership Drive
- Organize synchronized blood drive annually in coordination with BDA
- Miscellaneous
- Expansion of Adopt the Highway Program in other new cities .
- Coordinating all Nepali Schools ( Pathshalas ) and community center in NASeA’s region .
- Coordination with other regional , national and International organizations for the common agenda and betterment of our communities including ANMA , ANA , INLS , BDA and NRN NCC USA .
- Establishment of continuous and regular fund raising project .
- Educative program on “‘Gender Inequality , Domestic Violence and Mental Health “
Keep on scheduling some physical board meeting in various cities of NASeA Region.
