History is important to study because it is essential for all of us in understanding ourselves and the world around us. History can help provide us with a sense of identity. History well told is always beautiful.
The rich and glorious history of NASeA with more than 3 decades , helps us to paint a detailed picture of where we stand today . History is the knowledge of and study of the past. It is the story of the past and a form of collective memory. History is the story of who we are, where we come from, and can potentially reveal where we are headed.
History helps us develop a new level of appreciation for just about everything.
History gives us the opportunity to learn from past great and praiseworthy activities , and mistakes as well . NASeA history of course would be the MIRROR of our beloved organization where we can see all our organizational picture clearly in chronological orders with every progressive steps .
We want to continue the legacy of our beloved organization “ NASeA “ as the most leading social Nepali organization in America for endless years . The glorious history of NASeA should be always preferred to continue in a sustainable way in the coming generations to generations. This valuable history book of NASeA is expected to refer by our young and future generations to all about this organization in the future as well .This book will obviously be an authentic collections of all documents and activities of NASeA .
Having said so , in close coordination and cooperation with our all former presidents of NASeA , our current NASeA executive committee ( 2021-23) had decided on executive board meeting held on 19 Dec 2021, to publish “ The Glory of NASeA “ in a hard copy book within this tenure .
Our respected former President Shaubhagya L Shrestha had already composed the NASeA history briefly and posted in our website . With the highest level of appreciation for this praiseworthy job , on behalf of our executive committee we have appointed him to lead the “ NASeA history publication Board “ . We express the sincere thanks to him for his unconditional acceptance and happiness to lead this board .
The inaugural ceremony of this historical history book of NASeA expects to have all our presidents of NASeA stand together on the same stage to add one more historical step on this glory of NASeA .
We are also very much thankful to the following respected individuals who have accepted our request to help in this board .

The NASeA ( 2021-23) Executive Committee was unanimously elected on 21 November 2021 and this executive board prefers to begin this valuable job within the first month of this tenure .So we are announcing this first announcement today on 19 December 2021 .
The detail time line planning for the publication and the skeleton of proposed contents will be published by “NASeA History Publication Board “ soon .
