Dear NACC Institutional members,
As you are aware NACC’s 2nd anniversary is around the corner and we are gearing towards conducting elections for the NACC Executive Committee and Board of Trustees. The two years interim period with flat organization structure will end after the new NACC officers are elected and sworn in during the Annual General Assembly Meeting (AGM). We are writing this letter to make you aware of various developments and request additional information needed from you that will allow you to vote in the election.
1. Per NACC bylaws, each NACC institutional member will have two votes and will automatically become advisor to the Executive Committee. Currently, NACC record only has only one representative and email address for each organization. We need one additional email address for the second vote in case the election will be conducted using online voting system.
2. NACC has formed 5 members’ election committee which will be announcing the election schedule for the Executive Committee and Board of Trustees shortly.
3. NACC has extended the due date to become NACC founder and discounted membership rate for all membership categories until the day of Annual General Assembly Meeting (AGM) which is scheduled on Saturday, June 12th, 2021. We hope that this will provide you and all members additional time to pay remaining dues. We request you to let potential new NACC members know about the opportunity to become NACC founder and discounted membership rates being available until June 12, 2021.
Additional information about the election and AGM will be sent at a later time. We look forward to your active participation in the election and join hand with NACC on all our common missions to build our Nepali Center in Northern Virginia along with a place of worship to keep Nepali identity alive and vibrant for many generations.
