Washington DC.The Nepali American Community Center (NAAC) is celebrating this year’s International Children’s Day with special programs for young children in the diaspora community.
According to Bina Khadka Lama, coordinator of the NACC Junior Members’ Committee,a children’s art competition will be held in the first phase on Saturday, March 13.
Many children from the DC area are participating in the art competition which will start at 4:30 pm on Saturday and preparations have been completed,as informed by another organizer Aarti Parajuli Sigdel.
Other competitions to be held on behalf of NACC Jr.before the International Children’s Day include the Speech Competition on April 3rd,the Debate Competition on May 1st, and the Graphic Design Competition on June 12th.
The program of the art competition will be broadcasted live through enepalese,NACC official Facebook page and other media.It is requested by NACC to participate in the program via zoom link or live.
