It is our immense pleasure to let you know that Blood Donors of America ( BDA) and Nepalese Association in Southeast America (NASeA) are going to organize Synchronized Blood Drive on coming Saturday, 26 September in multi states and cities .
Blood Donors of America, BDA is a 501-c (3) humanitarian organization, dedicated to save lives via blood donation as well as to educate people for healthy living from experts. Established in 2009 in the state of New York, BDA has been expanded in more than half of the US states and is still expanding in more other states .
BDA had collected more than 10000( Ten Thousands ) pints of blood so far since its inception. One pint of blood can save as many as three human lives. Blood can not be made artificially ” Blood Donation “ is universally claimed as the most precious gift for the human beings. There is no replacement of human blood so when an individual needs blood, someone else has to give it. Saving human lives cannot be compared with anything else.
During the virtual Annual General Meeting of Nepalese Association in Southeast America ( NASeA) on 5 September 20, BDA and NASeA had signed on a Memorandum of Understanding ( MOU) to enhance many social activities for the betterment of our community including Blood Donation Event .
On basis of this MOU, both organizations BDA and NASeA are organizing this Synchronized Blood Donation event in multi states of America. During this pandemic, it has been learnt that many blood collection centers are in shortage of blood because of much amount of blood required for patients in one hand and less number of donors are donating due to possible fear of COVID 19 safety measures in the other hand .
All blood banks / collection centers assure that they are well aware about all kinds of safety measures and precautions about COVID 19 issue .Those measures are strictly observed and implemented for the safety of all donors and medical staffs in all blood centers .So, BDA and NASeA kindly request you all social heroes either to call any blood center or register online for the donation schedule as soon as possible in your local area for this Saturday and be a part of this great humanitarian work .Your contribution during this pandemic would also consider much valuable than in usual normal time .
All information about the coordinators in various states and cities are shown in attached flyer. All donors are kindly requested to inform your donation either to your state / city coordinator or/ and the main event coordinator BDA General Secretary Satish C Gupta @ 9194555151 or [email protected]. So that accurate data for number of donors and amount of blood donation can be recorded .
