She was walking down a dark alley,
In the middle of the death valley.
Exploring the edges of the street,
seeking to find a treat.
Were they footsteps that she was hearing?
Was she doing the right thing by ignoring?
Abruptly, she was strangled, and was gasping for breath,
She realized at last, that she was an inch away from death.
She felt a piercing pain and knew she was not going to be aided,
At last, everything faded.
