Madheshi Association in America (MAA) is going to launch Youth Leadership Program for personal growth, communication, and leadership skills of youth/kids for their bright future. The program will be conducted for 10 weeks every Saturday at 10 am central time. This will be an online program through zoom and Facebook. A demo class with some information about this program was given on June 06, 2020 through Zoom & Facebook live on MAA Facebook page, and the video can be watched by clicking the link below.

The 10 weeks class will begin from 6/13/2020 and it will be live broadcasted on MAA Facebook page. Please see below for the program details.
Program: Competent Youth Leadership
(CYL-10 Sessions for 10 weeks)
Week 1 (6/13/2020): Fundamentals of Leadership
Tools & technologies for the 21st century leadership.
Week 2 (6/20/2020): Roles and Executions.
Week 3 (6/27/2020): Introduction to Public Speaking & its Influence.
Week 4 (7/4/2020): Impromptu Speaking: skills for interviews and debates.
Week 5 (7/11/2020): Listening: effective listening skills.
Week 6 (7/18/2020): Organizing Speech. How should a perfect speech be?
Week7 (7/25/2020): Voice and vocabulary. How does vocal tones and varieties can affect a speech? Illustrations.
Week 8 (8/1/2020): Gesture in Speaking. For effective communication – gestures play 93 percent of a role than the words play 7 percent. Gesture skills.
Week 9 (8/8/2020): Final Performances by Learners.
Week 10 (8/15/2020): Goal Setting and Planning.
With some life-changing inspirations and motivations to break limiting beliefs and think out of the box.
Examples and short introductions of world changers: finally, the commitments of learners that how they will use the skills for their successful lives.
Please note that this program will be free, however, we are requesting parents to contribute $50 to buy gifts/prizes by the instructor for the kids which will be given as rewards throughout the course to motivate and encourage them.
