NASeA is going to organize “ Yoga and Meditation “

During this global crisis of Coronavirus , NASeA wishes for all our respected community members and Family to be safe . NASeA again kindly remind/ suggest you all to follow and implement  all the preventive measures strictly including the proper and frequent hand washing .Let us be safe our self first and help to save all others .

The outbreak of coronavirus (covid-19) may be stressful! Many of us are away from friends and family and our daily schedules may have changed. Fear and anxiety can be overwhelming during this time and cause strong emotional and physical reactions amongst children and adults. However, together we can cope with this stress!

One way to cope with stress is through meditation and yoga.

Yoga and meditation can…
– boost mood
– provide mental clarity
– improve physical health
– bring us to the present moment
– lower stress and anxiety

Keeping this necessity in current situation as many states ordered for “ stay at home “ , the Youth Committee of NASeA is going to organize “ Yoga and Meditation “ session ‪at 6 PM EST on Sunday, April 5th‬ via Zoom  and a discussion on stress and coping during this crisis. This Session will be led by Manaswi Sangraula.  The details of zoom link and meeting ID is as under .

Bio of Manaswi Sangraula

Manaswi is a yoga instructor who received her certification in Washington DC. She has been teaching yoga for over 5 years. She has taught to a variety of populations including to adolescents, seniors, and survivors of domestic violence. She has taught in yoga studios in Washington DC, NYC and Kathmandu, Nepal. Manaswi is passionate about health and wellness and is current completing her PhD in public mental health.

NASeA executive committee expresses the sincere thanks to our YOUTH committee as follows for organizing this very important and appropriate session during this appropriate time . NASeA also thanks and appreciates to Ms Manaswi Sangraula for her acceptance and time to lead this session .
