Dear all,
On behalf of Central Executive Committee (CEC), Convention Committee (CC), Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Madheshi Association in America (MAA), we would like to announce that the MAA 2nd General convention scheduled for May 23-24, 2020 in Dallas has been postponed in concerned with the health safety of our friends, guests, and members until further notice. This decision is taken considering the national and international social, economic, and health situation arises due to the pandemic coronavirus. The decision for postponing the MAA 2nd General Convention has been supported by the MAA BOT, Advisory Committee, and CEC. A new date for the convention will be announced after the situation becomes favorable. All current committees of the MAA will continue to take care of the regular activities of MAA until the 2nd General Convention.
We would like to urge our community members to follow the guidelines issued by the public health authorities of the USA to stay safe.
