We, at Nepa Pasa Pucha Amerikaye (NPPA), are extremely saddened by the demise of Mrs. Shakuntala Rajbhandari, mother of NPPA Patrons Dr. Narayan Rajbhandari and Mrs. Nirmala Rajbhandari. She passed away in her sleep at the age of 92 on November 17, 2019 at 2:21 AM at Transitions LifeCare Center, Raleigh, NC. She was born in Kathmandu, Nepal in 1927 and had been living in North Carolina since 2011.
Mrs. Rajbhandari is survived by one son, one daughter, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Her funeral service was held at City of Oaks Funeral Home, Raleigh, NC on November 18, 2019 at the presence of her family and well-wishers.
We offer our deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Rajbhandari family for their irreparable loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this tough time of grief and pray for the eternal and heavenly peace of the departed soul.
