A very Sharp and energetic civil engineering graduate student , aged 26 at Louisiana State University ( LSU ) , Baton Rogue , LA, Mr Binod Nepal was critically injured when he was hit by a vehicle while crossing the road on his way home from school on Monday, September 23, 2019. He was immediately taken to Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, Baton Rouge, for treatment. Tragically, we lost him on Thursday, September 26. He was also serving as Public Relations Chair of Nepalese Student Association at LSU. He was an energetic and enthusiastic person, and had grown to be an important part of our Nepali community at LSU in a short time. After this tragic loss, NSA @ LSU would like to focus on his funeral and the recovery of his family . He was originally from Sindhupalchowk but currently living in Kathmandu .
As fellow companions of Nepalese Student Association @LSU, this association is starting the attached GoFundMe campaign on behalf of his family to support them back in Nepal. On behalf of NSA@ LSU , President Rajan Dhakal has requested to keep the befallen family in your prayers and help them in their endeavor to support them.
Nepalese Association in Southeast America ( NASeA) is deeply saddened to hear this irreparable loss of a sharp and energetic community member .On behalf of NASeA , we pray for the departed soul to rest in eternal peace and express our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved Nepal’s Family .
