Khalti Brings Demat And MeroShare Fee Payment Facility (Press Release)

Khalti, an emerging digital wallet and payment gateway in Nepal has introduced Demat and MeroShare renewal fee payment facility on its platform. This facility will enable users to pay Demat and MeroShare renewal fee directly through Khalti app and website.

With the launch of this facility, Khalti has also introduced a dedicated ‘Share’ section on Khalti app and website from where users can proceed to Demat and MeroShare renewal fee payments.

Khalti users can avail the Demat and MeroShare renewal fee payments facility at no extra costs, in a very secure and reliable way. All the transactions in Demat and MeroShare renewal fee payments take place in real-time.

Announcing the launch of Demat and MeroShare renewal fee payments facility, Manish Modi, Managing Director of Khalti said,

“When we launched Khalti, we embarked on a goal to make all payments digital in Nepal. By adding Demat and MeroShare renewal fee payments facility, we have expanded the capabilities of digital wallet beyond mobile recharge and utility payments. Currently, this facility is available for the Demat and MeroShare account holders in 6 merchant banks viz. Sunrise Capital, Laxmi Capital, Sanima Capital, Prabhu Capital, NIC Asia Capital, and Nabil Investment Banking. Khalti is expanding this service to numerous other merchant banks too very soon.

The deadline for Demat and MeroShare account renewal for this fiscal is Asar 31 (July 16).
