Namaste Eid is the only and largest multicultural celebrations in Nepal which marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan and celebration of Eid-Ul-Fitra. Eid is basically a celebration after completing Fasting for one month. It will truly showcase the positivity and the morale of Nepalese celebrating the festival, Eid as a multi-cultural event.
With the 3rd iteration, Open Space Network has brought Samyang presents Namaste Eid 2019 Powered by Muslim Commission and Visit Nepal 2020, a multicultural event that aims to bring people from various communities of Nepal together to celebrate Eid and conclude the fasting month of Ramadan. The event invites people to witness the beauty of Islamic culture and spread the message of diversity and unity, which are at the heart of the celebrations.
This year, Namaste Eid will be held on the 8th of June, Saturday at Labim Mall from 3 PM to 8PM. The event will showcase various stalls consisting of halal outlets, henna artists to perfume and apparel stalls, while the ambience will be filled with Kids zone, Games, Sufi Musical and Dance performances.
Hon. Dhan Bahadur Buda, the State Minister of Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation will be joining as the Chief Guest of the event. The main attraction of the show, Modest Modern Hijab Fashion Show will be run by Nuzhat Qazi and renowned celebrities like Raveena Desraj Shrestha, Miss Nepal 2018 Shrinkhala Khatiwada and Priyanka Karki will walk along the models on the ramp wearing Hijab. The event will also be going live on Kantipur Television from 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
