Kathmandu /July 23 – US resident, Mausami Shrestha, born in Nepal, helped Srijansil Children Orphange financially. Mrs. Malla has been working in the field of health care sector aftercompleting her bachelor degree in Health Care Management coming to US, back in 1996.
Even though being far from her motherland, she has always shown her empathy in helping the Nepalese people in dire situations. She provided financial aid to the children, foster home during program conducted by the charity organization “Nyanopan” on 5th of Shrawan 2071.
Total 75,000 donated by Social worker Shrestha was handed over to chairman of, Mrs Umadevi Basnet through the hand of actress, Keki Adhikari, chairman of the organization, Bijay Lama and member of children wellbeing committee Gyan Bahadur Lama.
Actor and Capain Mr. Bijay Lama told that, “This type of donation will be continued in the future too, and this will help other people to inspirefor the social work.
Similarly, actress Keki Adhakari told that she will be involved in these types of human relief programme and she will donate as per she can. Lama also stated that the name of the shelter should not be kept asorange, rather it should be kept as the child care and support him.
The program was conducted in the presence of Arjun Bahadur Tamang including various other social workers Laxmi Younjan, video director, Sulochana Thing. Media worker, Regina Lama, the vice president of Mugum Bouddha Organization Mrs. Tochi Lama, singer Sabin Ghising and business man Subash Tamang. All of them made a commitment to help those orphanchildren by raising their voice and supporting each other as per their capacity in the program. Currently, 20 Orphan children are living in that
Orphan Home.
Likewise, previously, Mausami donated the educational material to the orphan children of the rural hilly area of Chitwan district to whom the devastating earthquake seriously affected.
During that time, she donated furniture, school bags, and stationary materials in the 1 to 5 grade orphan children of the Rastriya Primary School situated at Kavilash -1, Bharling, Chitwan. She donated those relief materials in co-ordinance with the Narayanghat Lady Jesus.
